Kgaogelo Mercy Mnisi is the second of four daughters born to Mr Napyane and Mrs Mamiky Phetla who are originally from Magopheng, Limpopo. They eventually moved to Kriel, Mpumalanga and that is where Kgaogelo spent most of her childhood. She was raised in a born again family and had the privilege of being saved at a very young age. She was exposed to reading the Bible almost every day and that is where her passion and dream of writing this Daily Devotional came from. She is married to Given Noa Mnisi and they are expecting their first child.
